We are so excited to let you know we have our upcoming August 2026 GGBFSC Summer Virtual Test Ice & Partner Practice! This will take place from August 13-August 15, 2026, with virtual test ice (with a Partner!) offered on Saturday, August 15. We will have Ian Lorello as our fabulous dance partner!
You can register and view more details at this link: https://august-2026-ggbfsc-summer-mini-camp.cheddarup.com. You will receive a lesson and ice schedule within one week of the event. You may schedule lessons on your own with your existing GGBFSC coaches during this ice as well.

Some Info About Ian: Ian Lorello, from Gambrills, MD, is a performer, choreographer, and director. Ian has performed with companies such as The Next Ice Age, Ice Dance International, Holiday on Ice, and Rand Productions, and was a principal performer and host with Disney on Ice for 5 years. As a competitive ice dancer he qualified for 10 U.S. National Championships and represented Team USA for 10 years in International Competitions, including the 2008 Junior Grand Prix Final in Tokyo, Japan. Ian has been featured in several televised productions, including American Public Television’s “The World of Ice Dance International”, Ice Dance International’s Special, “In Flight”, and New Black Films’ Documentary, “The Ice King”, a feature film on British Olympic Champion John Curry. Ian was a recipient of the 2020 Maryland State Arts Council Independent Artist Award, and has choreographed and directed local shows in Maryland. Alongside his wife, Laura Seal, he operated an artistic skating school, and coached two Theater On Ice teams, with the Chesapeake Sapphires claiming the bronze medal at the 2019 TOI National competition.

Camp Refunds
One hundred percent of the camp ice fees, minus the deposit, will be refunded if the request is received more than one week before the camp begins. If the request is received 7 to 1 days before the camp starts a refund of 50% of ice fees will be issued, minus the deposit. No refunds will be approved once the camp begins.
Lessons canceled with coaches less than 24 hours in advance will need to be paid in full to the coach.
Medical excuses, documented in writing by a physician, will result in a prorated refund based on the number of days attended. All refund requests need to be approved by the Camp Chair before approval.
